American Chariot
"The American Chariot is a dynamic personal transportation vehicle that will significantly enhance productivity and increase profitability."
The American Chariot is capable of operating in more commercial environments than any other traditional industrial vehicle. It continuously outperforms golf carts and utility vehicles with its stable "step-on, step-off" platform; controlled speed, maneuverability, and a 450lb capacity. The Chariot is simple to operate, with less maintenance and operating costs, and requires little formal training.
Built using the highly stable, classic three-point design, coupled with thoroughly modern engineering and heavy-duty construction, the Chariot is a tough vehicle for a tough job. From speed and maneuverability, to reliability and low operating costs, the Chariot delivers the widest range of features and benefits of any personal transportation option.
Standard Series feature include:
• High-Performance Electric Motor - Dual brushless (3.2 peak HP) with external motor controller, high performance sealed bearing brushless DC motor system.
• Quick-Change Rechargeable Power Packs - Batteries Quick change power pack with two 40 amp/hour 12V zero maintenance sealed lead acid (FAA approved - air/sea transportable) batteries that can be changed in seconds. 12V automatic off-board charger features 10A standard, taking 6 hours to fully charge. 24V off-board charger provides convenient charging via the on-board charge port.
• 450-Pound Capacity - The American Chariot transports up to 450 pounds of cargo and rider. A built-in cargo area holds up to 150 pounds of equipment safely and securely.
• Brakes - Rear wheel band brakes with brake lights and parking brake

Plug in America
Plug In America is a coalition of RAV4-EV drivers, former lessees of Honda EV+, GM EV1, Ford Ranger and Ford Th!nk City electric cars, and advocates of clean air and energy independence.
Plug In America was formed to raise public awareness of and to advocate for plug-in transportation. We take our inspiration from earlier campaigns that saved around 1,000 of 5,000 production electric cars from being destroyed by the same automakers who put these great, emissions-free cars on the road. Those campaigns were led by individuals (organized around websites of various names) who coalesced into a chapter of the non-profit Electric Auto Association and then founded Plug In America as a separate non-profit on January 2, 2008.
Prior to 2008, we functioned as a loose network of individuals organized around websites of various names (like dontcrush.com and saveEV1.com) and then coalesced as a chapter of the Electric Auto Association. On January 2, 2008 Plug In America became a separate California Non-Profit Corporation. On August 18, 2008, we received our determination from the IRS, and we became an official 501(c)(3) public charity!
