Chase founded Recycled Movie as a way to share professional knowledge with young filmmakers, encouraging their growth, and giving them the means to produce positive programming. Partnerships with The Green Ambassadors, Mission: Science, ECHS, Brookwood Films are helping to make this vision a success.

Residing in Los Angeles for nine years, Chase has been fortunate to work alongside the best in the business. Recent projects include: JOHN RATZENBERGER'S MADE IN AMERICA, DANE COOK'S TOURGASM, and US OF ANT. This professional experience has allowed him to succeed independently as director, producer, editor and cinematographer.

Raised in the rolling hills of West Virginia, Chase has always had an adventurous spirit. Growing up relatively free of the distraction of modern conveniences allowed his creative mind to flourish and ample time to go play in the woods.

Spending his Junior year in Australia as a Rotary exchange student, Chase gained personal confidence through self-discovery and adventure. While there he learned to scuba dive on old shipwrecks, fed jumping crocodiles in Darwin, saw wild devils in Tasmania, and even climbed the sacred Ayers Rock.

During college he spent the falls working in the dorms as a Resident Assistant, the springs guiding white water rafting expeditions down the Cheat River, and the summers life-guarding in Myrtle Beach, SC. A graduate of West Virginia University, Chase earned dual degrees in Fine Arts and Psychology, and was recipient of the prestigious "Mr. Mountaineer Award," the highest undergraduate award given at W.V.U. for an outstanding record of academic achievement and extra curricular involvement.

His on-going education includes volunteer work at the American Cinemateque, Clairmont Camera, Panavision, Los Angeles Film School, New York Film Academy, and UCLA, as well as mentoring at Sylmar Juvenile Hall.
